What is currently happening?
What staff positions are there?
We are no longer accepting Staff Applications for reviewers and editors for the Fall 2024 Issue of A Midwestern Review! Check back in the Spring 2025 semester for information on Staff Applications!
The open staff positions are editors and reviewers for all four sections (art, poetry, fiction, and nonfiction).
Reviewers attend all-staff meetings, review all submissions for their section, annotate/propose revisions for each piece, and discuss the submissions with the working group to ultimately select pieces for final publication.
Editors attend all-staff and editorial board meetings, organize and run working group meetings, facilitate discussions about submissions, make final calls on selections when needed, suggest revisions, and report progress to the editorial board.

What can be submitted?
